Windows 10 start menu

I've had W10 since it was released last year, reasonably happy EXCEPT the start menu has 'disappeared' 3 times now.

Fixes I found were:-

1) Run the system file checker through Task Manager/Powershell
2) Reinstall all apps through pasting some provided code into Powershell.

The above fixed thngs for a few weeks/months, now the start button has gone again and the above won't fix it.

Microsoft recognise this as a glich that hits some users but so far havn't provided a fix.

Anyone got any experience of this?

Reinstalled W10 a couple of days ago. It fixed the problem initially, then broke within 24 hours.

Just come off line with Microsoft support, they took over my machine and tried all the things I'd tried without success. They have scheduled a telephone call for this Wednesday with a senior tech to try and resolve it. I have to admit they are taking it very seriously, full credit to them (so far!).
