Window washer problem

Twice in 3 months, I've experienced my window washers not working at all when I pull the lever. The wipers work, there is just no washer fluid being pumped out no matter how often I try. There is no sound to indicate anything is going on. Once I restart the car (a 2012 3.5i), however, everything works again as normal. Has anyone experienced this? Perhaps a workaround is known? I'm hoping it is a known problem because I can see my dealer having some trouble diagnosing it.

Likely an electrical problem I'd say.. faulty wiring/pump/lever.. I've not seen it mentioned on the forums and I've never had that issue. I can't imagine the dealer having too much of a problem, they'll likely replace the pump or lever first.

(btw your car is a 35i not a 3.5i)

Thanks Maniac, you've put my mind at ease! I thought it'd be hard to find since it is so intermittent.
