Window switch only lowers (faulty)

Hi.

Here's a weird one.

Passenger window switch only lowers window if you push or pull up the switch. So, if you pull up the switch, it lowers instead of raises the window.

Drivers door switch works fine so it must be the passenger door window switch at fault.



I can't find anyone that's had this problem.

Any help would be great.

I would suggest the switch isnt faulty, has some one been moving it up or down? sounds like its stuck in a reset mode

leave ignition off for 5 then try, mine did it when i was trying to reset the auto up

Failing that id try battery disconnect before replacing the switch
 
I've tried leaving it and doing the resets but nothing has helped.

No one has done any work on it.

It's like the switch thinks pulling or pushing the switch should lower the window.

Is there any reset I can do on the laptop ?

I haven't tried disconnecting the battery yet.

Fixed !

I prised the switch out of the door handle and disconnected it.
At first it made no difference but then I turned the ignition on and off, then connected it and it's now working.

Maybe the switch got confused.......

I love a 2 minute fix. Hopefully that's solved now.
