so it happened, my window regulator cable went bust :lol:

be aware of the air bag take off battery lead make sure you adjust the pitch of the window glass

Be interesting to hear how easy you find the repair kit to use £25 seems like a great price to fix a regulator. It was a bit of an annoying job when I replaced one on my car but its pretty straightforward really. I fully expect that I will have to replace the other at some point.

I need to do my kit, you fitted yours yet?
I've asked a couple of garages but they're not man enough.

Fitted ages ago, it's a straight forward job to replace cable, the hardest bit it's to remove glass and motor, you will need the drill and set of screws and nuts to refit the motor

You need to remove motor to refit new cable, to do that you need to drill the rivets. The cable only cost £25, check the link in my first post.
