Window Regulator purchase

Good evening Gents!

I have recently purchased myself a 2003 Z4 3.0L in Merlot Red! This is my second Z4, and i am pleased to own one again!

Now the car is showing its age, and needs a few jobs but nothing major!

The most obvious fault is the noisey and slow operating passenger window which I assume is the window regulator!

I don't want to buy the cable repair kit, I'd rather a new regulator and new membrane.
Can these parts be purchased any where else other than BMW?

I look forward to getting to know you and becoming a regular on the forums!

So far I have had the front bumper fully sprayed, passenger mirror and boot lid!

19 INCH CSL REPS

NEW BOOT STRUTS

HEADLIGHT RESTORATION KIT

I purchased a regulator from Euro Car Parts, if you select the best quality one from the options its the same brand as the OEM one from BMW. It even comes in the same box minus the BMW branding

I had mine replaced after it bust, but if you search the forum for info about the "window regulator" there are threads with preventative tightening and adjusting of screw sets that come lose and actually cause the noise and eventual failure. It could be that doing this will avoid shelling out for a new regulator. I can't find it, but I'm sure someone will jump in with a link

Thank you for the reply, i have ordered a new window regulator now, but if it is not needed I could always send it back!
