On the way to my folks I put the window down to pay the toll charge in the tunnel.... the window went down, then I heard a loud clunk and it went back up and locked there. Now when I press the window button I hear the motor working but nothing happens. It sounds like the metal cable has snapped and the regulator mechanism is in need of replacement.
I have looked on ebay and no joy... we don't have any breakers yards locally either. Any ideas where the best place to source one from is?
