Just got a z4 and noticed that the driver window only goes down and not up no matter which way I press the button. So I toke the door apart and toke the window motor off and got a new one, put the new one in and same thing happens. So I cut the wires of the window motor and reversed them and noticed now that it now only goes up and not down. Does anybody know why this is Happaning? Do I have a bad button?

passenger side only one switch, but no doubt drivers side only has one plug, so I would say no.

sorry to hear...so how hard and how long did it take you to take apart the door... my window won't go up or down, but i was told its the clips...did you use regular trim tools or the specified bmw trim tool to remove the door panel? thx ..
no warrenty on the car, but what i did was make a custom switch that will reverse the power - , + . and it works perfect now.
