Window not going up

I have an intermittent problem where the window does not always go up and seal instead it seems to sit away from the seal leaving a gap, do you have any ideas what this might be? :(
 
reset your window, iirc it's- ignition on, wind down window and hold down for further 3seconds, then wind up.
 
More than likely your window regulator is on the way out. Mine started playing up recently when in France. So I disconnected the motor before it totally failed. I could then open the door slightly before operating the roof. Will be my first job in the new year :cry:
