Hi - can't find this on any searches;

Both front windows have marks on them from top to bottom. They feel like scratches but do was off, then reappear after a week or so - any ideas?

Not great pic, sorry

Also is it normal for rain water to gather at the bottom of the rear window and not drain away?

Window marks ! I had an horizontal marks on the side windows , assumed they were from dirty rubbers, cleaned the rubber best I could , then polished the glass with super resin polish inside and out, the glass came up fantastic as clear as crystal, the windows operate smoother , think it must the polish acting as a lubbricant on the rubber seals. Im sure some of you will be horrified , using SRP on glass, however it seems to do the bussiness, even works amazing on ceramic tiles, :D :D

Rear window , assuming you mean gathering on the roof below the rear window, the water should quickly drain , may be worth checking your roof drains .

Looks like just the normal rain flow/ windscreen water flow marks to me :?

Looks like the op has a coupe so i presume he means the rear windows that the coupe has.

Which i have no idea about!

Circa 5cm wide stripe from bottom to top of window, just in front of the door handle.... Dunno, but I have this on my passenger window, and each time I wash it off and clean the rubber it comes back the first time I open the window. I just ignore it now.

Grease from the regulator mechanism contaminating the lower part of the wiper seal. As the window rises and closes it smears on the glass. Clean off and it will reappear in a few weeks from use.

You could strip down your window, remove exess grease and fit a clean seal, but is it worth it?

Have the exact same issue. Not rain water, it appears on the inside of the window. Assume it's grease from the regulator

Aye - garage took it all apart and said seals inside the door had worn and grease from reg is making marks. An easy fix but at £75 plus vat & labour told them not to bother ;-)

That's what I said it would be.

True & appreciated, I asked them to claim on warranty so they had to investigate. Unfortunately people at warranty co said 'computer says no' so didnt get it done.

Cup holder, sunglasses holder & glovebox all broke this week - weird. Fixed now tho.
