Window doesn't go up after the top down/up

I just got my Z4 a week ago and I have a problem I can't find a solution to anywhere....

When I press the roof-button, both windows drop, the top goes down (red light goes off). I keep the button pressed to put both windows back up and passenger side window goes up but the drivers side window stays where it was. Same thing happens when I put the top up again.

I've tried the reset where you press window down and hold for 5 seconds and the same procedure up but that didn't do anything.

Anyone who can help? Perhaps there are other ways you can reset the windows?

I had exactly this and only one reset procedure worked, all fine now. See my last post on this thread:

Thanks - will try that tomorrow. Do you need to have the car running while doing this procedure or just the key in pos 1?
Think I had the car running although can't remember completely. Doors shut too. Good luck.

I reset mine with just the key in ignition at position 1

I had to perform the reset proceedure 3 times before I got mine reset correctly

Av got this same problem but mine is passenger window had the coil pack done and got the car back with window not working (automatic close). Will try this in the morning

I tried peoples advice of just holding the switch down / up so many times but it never worked, tried the way I have posted in the link and sorted it first time

Just one question step 1: when opening window do u use the automatic function and take your finger off??

Well tried this on the window nd now it just works when it wants. Have a done something wrong??
No idea tbh, it should in theory reset the memory so should work fine after. Perhaps worth trying it again?

Am going back in 10mins to try again I do step 1 and 2 then go to put window back up but sometimes it chooses not to it was fine before just the automatic up function wasn't working.

Isn't it only an automatic down function? Mine doesn't auto up....

Mine is auto up and auto down, but I believe the auto up is disabled from factory and needs to be changed by a coder.

Am honestly not sure had car bout 4months which I though it had auto up working car had coil pack changed then nothing thing is I can't member if it had this function of not, but the button has the 2clicks manual and auto

Reset one touch auto up...

Raise(close) window, when it stops wait 1-2 seconds ( should hear click from door panel area), now lower window all the way down.

Repeat three (3) more times... (Lower window all the way down then raise (close) window waiting 1-2 seconds to hear click).

Lower window all the way... One touch auto feature is now reset...

Not sure if you have to lower window all the way down before raising window all the way, but more likely to have a successful reset using full open/close of window.
