Window 'comfort' mode not working

You need to do a window reset, the info was somewhere else but no longer available, try this one though.

I reset mine yesterday as I had the battery disconnected. I think the steps above are just a couple short, here's what I did :
Ignition to position 1
Press and hold both switches until the windows are fully down
Continue to hold down for 5 secs
Pull and hold the switches up to close the windows fully
Continue to hold up for 5 secs
Release and turn ignition off
One thing to note is that for some reason (probably a Germanic thing) you have to be pretty accurate in the length of time you hold the buttons after the window is closed or open when resetting - so I just count '1 one thousand, 2 one thousand...etc.'
When you restart the car they should work as normal. In operation the window switches have two 'positions' - if you push them all the way down or pull all the way up once then the window does it's one touch thing, but if you give the button a shorter (lighter ?) push or pull it will go down/up until you release the switch.

UPDATE: 'One click down' works again, up is still defective :?
Did you get this sorted at all? My windows did this. Got the drivers one working again but the passenger one still doesn't go back up on the 'one touch' or when closing the roof and holding the button. Very odd...
As bing said resetting can be difficult. I I know I had trouble. Once the window is fully lowered/raised release the buttons and then press/pull again for a few seconds just to be sure.
Sim, changing the door shouldn't affect this although early cars did not have this feature on the passenger side. I would guess that's was controlled within a module though within the car not the door.
