Window closing problem

Hi all,

I have a 2007 Coupe 3.0L, and when I close the driver's door, the window doesn't always slot back into the 'housing' properly. The window is fully closed, and once the door closes it notches up a bit automatically (I can't remember the name of the mechanism) - however, once this happens, the glass sits on the outside of the rubber seal, as a pose to the inside. It seems to me to be misaligned or something...

Any suggestions?

Have you tried resetting the windows ? Just in case the window is being pushed up too hard ? ( Might be worth the 2 mins to try it )

1. Turn on the ignition
2. Depress the individual window button until the window is open, then keep it pressed for 5 seconds longer.
3. Depress the window button until it is closed, then release.
4. This should reset the memory on the window.

Same procedure for both windows

If not, it sounds like you will need to get it adjusted. Ive not done it on a Z'ed so don't know the specifics, but there are usually some bolts inside the door panel to adjust this kind of movement... Hopefully someone who knows the Z'ed better will post later .....
 
Post a pic so we can see, but I think it is meant to be on the outside and not the inside.

what's the passenger side like?
