Windblocker Choice? Input needed

Last pic for me I had the oem deflector fitted when I bought the car its a neat bit of kit had the brackets attached under the boot lid for storage when not in use but I sold it to a fellow Z4 owner on here when I have the top down its windows down and blown to bits :D
 
I'm not contesting what others have experienced, but my acrylic windblocker went in this past weekend, and it made a very noticeable difference. I get no turbulence, and only the very top of my head gets a little wind. I no longer get any of the airflow coming from behind like before. And all of that improvement is with just the center mounted. I haven't bothered installing the side panels as I have M seats that pretty much cover the opening. YMMV.

Where in NC are you? I was stationed at Cherry Point for many years. 1st Fleet squadron was Q2. Combat tour was with Q4 and I did a pump to WestPac with Q3. Was Asst OpsO and Air OpsO for MWSS-271 and did a couple of tours at the Wing.

This :thumbsup: Only time mine comes out is to clean it. Works best with the windows up. So that wee dogy has it all wrong. :wink:
 
I picked up an acrylic wind deflector from windrestrictor.com as well this past year and did not have any noticeable turbulence over when I had the mesh one installed. Perhaps it is because it is so tightened down?

Granted, this is not my daily driver, so maybe I am less picky because I am just so happy when the sun is shining and I get to drive teh thing!
