Wind noise - 1 mm gap between glass and sealing.

Hi :)

I'm having a small problem with my Z4M. There is a gap between glass and sealing causing a loud wind noise:

Sorry for image quality.

I've already managed to fix it on the driver's side by glass angle correction (towards softtop) and adjusting the middle upper sealing. On passenger's side it doesn't help. Maybe it's worth to mention - soft top was removed once by BMW garage (roof motor replacement).

Any ideas?

I posted a guide on here on how to fully adjust the windows in every direction.
sounds like you need to move your glass backwards 1mm..

and here's the guide:

Haha, if only I could find something equally helpful to write to swing my balance

You mean by doing that: "5: Adjust the castor angle of the window glass"?

Top of the window is perfectly aligned with sealings. Just the rear side of it, have this gap (as on the photo)

correct.
you may also need to adjust the height of it again once you move it back.

Oh my, sound like a lot of work. Do You think, if it's possible that soft top is misaligned? I don't really want to do "step 5" if there are any other options ;)

it's unlikely, but if it was changed recently, you could always go back to BMW and say "oi! I've now got wind noise! Sort it you plonkers!!"
