Wind Deflector

I finally managed to get hold of one and have it fitted, but there still seems to be an extraordinary amount of wind coming through the headrests, can you get some kind of fitment that blocks it?

I have not seen any that have but there must be one...

Both OEM ones have these covered, either the bondage one like andy has or the pucker factory fit one.

If you have the clip in deflector then there are plastic triangular inserts that also require fitted to complete the set. You can see them in the parts diagram here - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Genui...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c66e3163d

Part number 1, just the triangle

Sometimes they come up on eBay separately, but none there right now, so you may need to order from BMW if you are desperate - they ain't cheap :(

Edit - looks like BMW don't sell the triangle separately...

Thanks mate

No shame in it Andy, each to there own, world would be a less interesting place without the occassional gimp :D

BMW do sell the mailer triangle deflectors separately, I just ordered them today. £110 for both though!

I don't know how much difference it will all make, hopefully some.

True, but that included the boot fit mounts etc.

£220 for the little bits that go inside the roll hoops! They're tiny

£110 for both, not each.

I've managed to buy all the parts for under £300 now, all genuine too. The main wind deflector was only £50 on eBay.

Ah, that's not so bad then. More in line with standard BMW prices, rather than BMW extortion
