Wind Deflector

Hi

I am looking at getting a wind deflector, i don't fancy the clip on one but i also am not too fussed about the inserts to the head restraints, don't fancy the extra expense TBH :oops: - basically i just want the centre section and have a couple of questions - if anybody could help / advise that would be great - thanks.

1) Has anyone got one fitted without the head restraint inserts and does it make a difference.
2 Can you actually fit the centre one withouth the head rest ones.

You can often pick up the centre mesh section on ebay, but rarely the full kit. In fact I think someone has most of the parts advertised in the buy/sell section right now.

The real piece you need is the channels and guides that fit in into the roll hoops (and also some that store it in the bootlid) and the replacement roll hoops that accomodate the channels.

The clear plastic hoop inserts you mention are just a cheap clip in bits, but are vital to it's correct function.
