I just thought I would add some words on the wind deflector. I installed a wind deflector yesterday. It seemed that since the 09 is so new the parts shop at my BMW dealership were not very informative. At first, I just ordered the wind deflector the goes between the rollbar not realizing that you needed to order the whole kit :!: . When I finally got all of my parts there weren't any instructions 
. I talked with a service guy and he told me how to get started. The hardest part was pulling off the silver plastic "U" on the role bar, I did not want to scratch anything 
. I started pulling from the bottom and was successful in getting the parts off. Now here is how to save yourself approx $80. The black "U" that the silver "U" attaches too does not need to be replaced, it is screwed into the role bar, the new part looked exactly liked the original. The silver "U" just snaps into the black part. Overall it was pretty easy even without instructions. If anyone is thinking about installing it yourself and have questions send me an email at [email protected]. I really like the way it looks 
but just like owning a "Harley" it is pretty pricey :thumbsdown: .
