Littleone - no offence intended per se, but first you strip out the tool kit to sell, now you remove ONE BIT of the wind deflector, presumably before selling your car?

To the OP - unless your car was owned by someone like 'littleone' and therefore has all the necessary hardware fitted, but the main deflector missing, then this is a useless purchase. The OEM kit needs all the screws and bracketry (and you need to remove the rollover hoop covers to fit it all, or get the dealer to do it) as well as the inserts inside the rollover hoops themselves to complete the set.

I'm sure someone who's been caught out can advise but I'm not sure if the various bits can all be bought separately.

If you can't get a complete setup second hand, or don't want to pay the dealer price (try Joe at Sopers) then the strap-on version (which looks terrible IMHO) or the perspex strap-on (even worse IMO!) are your only options...

Excuse me but I don't see why the problem is!!! My car has been part exed for a ridiculously low price so I am more than entitled to sell any bits and bobs that I want to!!!

The brackets to install the wind deflector can be purchased from BMW if need be... And i am simply offering the deflector in case anyone needs one (either because they don't alreay have one) or need to replace a damaged one... Surely this is my prerogative and none of your business!!!

And FYI someone had already purchased the toolkit so it obviously is of interest to somebody!!!

Sorry but the fact you posted it on a public forum means I'm entitled to express an opinion, which is, that it sucks. By all means sell extras that can be removed invisibly, but dismantling half a wind deflector and selling the toolkit is just beyond the pale IMHO. But if it floats your boat......
