Wind Deflector OEM Retro Fit?

Looking at fitting a wind deflector on my zed, like this one http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BU32&mospid=49302&btnr=54_0316&hg=54&fg=95

Would I need new roll hoops to mount the backets. Has anyone doen this before?

(sorry for all the questions)
 
If you want to fit the sections that fit in the hoops then yes you need to replace the hoops, if you only want the main middle section then two members have just drilled a pilot hole and used self tappers to secure.
