Wind deflector not good?

Mine (which is the same) seems to work a treat, but I've only owned the Z4 so have nothing to compare it to...

Side covers - got it now...can they stay in place or do they need to be removed when roof is up?

Where are these available from - anyone have ideas of price?

Let me know and thanks. :driving:

Not sure where you can get them, for me they came with the car...
in any case, they need to be removed before putting up the roof, so not very handy... Unless for long trips.

This part (page says about 150$ a piece?

They are a BMW item - BMW dealer parts department can order them in.
Not any more - if you're lucky you may be able to track down a dealer with one on the shelf but they're out of stock centrally and they're not producing any more. They turn up fairly often on eBay and occasionally on here

My zed came with the OEM mesh wind deflector that clips inbetween the roll bars. I can't say I notice any difference at all. I'm 5'11".

It limits rear visibility a lot too, and I'm crap at parking so will probably leave it out.

I like that it has a little clip in the boot lid for storing though. Nice little touch that, well done BMW.

Might be more effective for shorter people maybe...
