Ok Bunker - just came to mind when reading your post - hope you find what you're after.
Here we go again with the M// badge debate. . .

bought our first Zed years ago in ignorance having been told it was an M sport 2 litre roadster - at the time I didn't know :?
Liked the M badges and left them until sale at the beginning of this year. (Where's the raspberry smiley!!! Here it is

)
Oh and by the way just to make certain that it's covered before the debate starts - I am confident the M// badges most definitely made the Zed handle better and it's performance was much improved.

The badges also attracted lots of interest from folk on the road that wanted to see how good it was which I felt obliged to show them because I believe the badges made me a better driver too 8) - so I'd encourage everyone to fix them on their non M// Zeds - Wowee. . .! :roll:
I also spent months looking for an exhaust flap I could attach over my single oval exhaust outlet I was sooo embarrassed

. . . Tried using a permanent marker instead to draw a couple of exhaust tail pipes on the other side in the hope that folk wouldn't notice that either. . . (Where's the smilie with the slowly shaking head followed by a forehead slap. . . . ?)
I know I should have known better but I've been on the 12 stage re-education process and my salvation came when I found my 3.0si - have to be careful though as there are M badges to be found on that. . . .temptation, temptation - the marker pen is so close to hand!

Am I really cured yet?????
Or to put this another way for those of you concerned so much 'Here we go again!'

(Teach me to be a little more careful before posting photos!)
PS I've now got gaffa tape over the M// badges on my steering wheel and road wheel badges so as not to upset folk and give me false presumptions - though my therapist says that if I keep the Zed moving no one will see the M//badges on my wheels and she has taught me to hold the steering wheel at the bottom to cover the M// badge that's there. . . .
Yeh - honestly. . . :roll:
Slinks off slowly to find respite by wearing his Spiderman outfit and playing with his Johnny Seven Gun. . . . .
