Will they fit? Rub?

Looking at fitting some X5 wheels to my 2003 3.l roadster,
I know that they are 19 inch and staggered 9j front and 10j rear widths.
Does anybody know whether these would fit within the arches?
Im currently at stock ride height but soon plan to lower either with 35mm eibach springs
or BC coilovers.
Want to still be able to drive it down the lanes to its full potential without bottoming out or rubbing is this possible?
:D
Any guidance appreciated
thanks

"NeilP" is running the same set up & his looks mighty fine , "FatMikey" also had the same set up so look back over both their posts for pics as they were also running lowered suspension iirc

I'm also giving serious thought to the very same setup. Not using the car daily anymore to happy to lose a bit of comfort from 18's and standard supsension.
Don't want to run much of a stretch on the tyres though.

I have asked Neil the same question for the same reasons. If I get a reply before this post does I will let you know.

PM's replied to and indeed I am running 225/35 and 255/30 (front/rear respectively)

No rubbing with a 10mm spacer all around. I did need a 10mm on the front regardless to clear the adjusting collar on my damper.

OP, can't say for sure if you'll have any rubbing with lowered springs on factory dampers so that's worth considering.

Thanks for the information Neil, really useful. Your car looks really well.

Very nearly went for tigerclaws when I had an E46.....I think they are drawing me in again! :poke:

Just need to offload a set first as I can't justify owning 3 sets of wheels when I use the car maybe 3 times a month!

Just fitted some to mine over the weekend

Went with 235/35/19 front and 255/35/19 rear

Holy 4x4 stance! That needs dropping badly. Nice wheels though.

Have no fear, collected a set of 35mm lowering springs from Jonny Essex at the weekend , they'll be fitted over the Christmas break

Same here.

Are the front wheels 9'' wide then? Whats the offset of those? Wouldn't mind some 235/35's on my 8.5'' fronts to protect the rim.

The x5 wheels are staggered

19x 9J et 48 (front)
19x 10J et 45 (rear)

I guess I'll find out if they rub once I drop the height by 35mm
