This is the ad I've seen below, I've just no idea if they will fit or not so looking for advice, trying to source another set for winter time, change the look of the car as have metal roof too :) at the min I have 18" mv2's on, thanks for the help

Nice set of 19" alloys taken from my E46 M3 - breaking the car for spares
Fronts 8.5j et40 with 4mm continental contisport contact 225/40 tyres
Rears 9.5j et20 with 8mm continental contisport contact 235/40 tyres

It's not an m car no, I have read some things about that just not sure as some say exactly that others say it will be fine some say something entirely different just don't want to spend £ to find the don't fit or function properly:/

The rear offset is too low for a 9.5 width.
You need to be looking for an offset of not less than et35 with that width wheel to avoid rubbing issues.
As for the tyres the profiles need to be lower. I run on 8.5 fronts 225/35/19s and 9.5 rears 265/30/19s with an offset of et35 all round.

So if the ad said 9.5j et35 it would be fine, basically I'm looking for
Fronts 8.5j et35(+)
Rears 9.5j et35(+) anything less wouldn't work, then tyres just similar to what you have, can the n.nj be any different from 8.5 and 9.5 :|

On those width wheels an offset of around et35 to et40 would be ok
If you are looking at different width wheels use an offset calculator to check the position of the wheel.
The standard fit 18s on a Z4 eg. 108s is 8 inch fronts et47 and rears are 8.5 inch et50 but they sit in quite a bit.
The lower your offset the further out the wheel sits

I'm now looking at a set of MV1's they're 5 x 120 the rears are 8.5 et50 fronts are et43, will these do? Thanks again and sorry I'm such a tool :P
