Will replacing passenger seat with euro lhd driver seat work....?

Got a chance to buy a euro lhd drivers seat with electric memory seat controls and wondering if i can straight swap it into my rhd zed.

I have the electric memory seat for the driver side but passenger side doesnt have memory option, only the position control switches.

Possible? Worth the hassle of finding out?

I'm no expert, but I would think the memory part would be integral to the seat, therefore it should work.
Has to be worth a go.

i dunno. I can imagine theres a module upstream of the seat somewhere perhaps.

I think both seats have sensors.. To trigger the searbelt warning system. (?)

My thinking was that the drivers side always expects a person in the seat, so why have the added expense of a sensor mat?

I didn't take much notice of the connections when I replaced mine, but can have a look at the seats I took out when I get home on Friday.
