will it fit gear knob

hi does anyone know if the leather gear knob from a 2012 e89 will fit my 2007 e85 thanks

I'm not sure, but I don't think it will without some modification because the gaiter is different.

That's based on what I remember of a thread someone posted about fitting a ZHP gear-knob to an E89.

Hopefully someone will be able to give you a definite answer!

I fitted the ZHP knob on the E89. It seemed to fit alright. The issue was the E89 shift knob and boot are all one piece... So when you pull the knob and you're looking at the transmission :roll:

I fitted the ZHP knob on the E89. It seemed to fit alright. The issue was the E89 shift knob and boot are all one piece... So when you pull the knob the bloody boot comes with it :roll:

Thanks for your advice it’s only 15 pounds but if it’s too much trouble it’s not worth the hassle

I see the price varies quite a bit. I suspect you can buy OEM or a copy.
