Will give it another go !

have you tried auto trader yet? good coverages for reasonable cost. advertising on a forum sometimes isnt so good because most members are on the forum because they have a car , not because they are looking for a car. you will though get a wealth of advice, some good some not so good, re price and service history ,no of former keepers etc etcjust have to take it all in and decide for yourself. good luck with the sale

There was a guy looking for the best z4 he could find.... Yours i think would tick all the boxes i will try and find the thread and link this to it Gov

Hiya

I might be interested in this, but one thing that I am after as an ideal mod is cruise control. Your original post says about stuff that it has added, and says that it doesn't have heated seats or parking sensors, but you didn't say anything either way about cruise control. I don't suppose this was just standard on the 3.0 was it?

I work in a Fareham so I can easily get over to the island to see the car if it comes to it.

I'll have to sweet talk the missus in the mean time! :D

I presume that isn't a BMW price!
Still, not a bad price!

That is the (BMW) part, for that year it should be pre-cabled and is just plug and play to connect.

It is actually cheaper, about £60 here:

Whilst it doesn't have cruise control it does have extras that originally cost £5k as can be seen on the original invoice - these included sat nav ,bluetooth preparation , xenons ,M seats etc . It's also taxed to end May 2015 .

You will have to sell it in a couple of days after which you can no longer pass on the tax ...

I'll have a look at the diary and see when I can make it over to take a look at it and I'll pm you.

Good point about the tax! I'd forgotten about the new rules........ Bit of a pain for all private sellers!

Cheers

A forum member has been in contact about my car with regard to the service record - because of the low mileage it has had the required 2 yearly time bounded oil/brake fluid changes and Inspection 1 . My understanding is that only oil/brake fluid changes are time bounded as indicated in the service maintenance booklet ( I have all the original books etc,) The service maintenance book states inspections 1 and 2 are governed by usage not time bounded - my computer service indicator shows " Inspection" in 14300 miles which I interpret as Inspection 2 unless another time bound oil/brake fluid falls before this ( which it will this Dec - am I reading this correctly or will it need an Inspection 2 in December ?Current mileage is 29200

I believe you are correct, oil and BF every 2 years if the Insoection mileage hasn't been hit :driving:
