Will e89 seats fit into an e85

OK stupid question time, how do you know when a seat is heated or electric powered?
What switches do I look for?
 
Electric has buttons on seat look a bit like the profile of a seat , heated would have the buttons for heat on the dash, unsure how you tell just by looking at a seat if it's out of the car, unless you know which plugs should be on the underside of the seat
 
Thank you, so buttons rather than the block levers on the side like I have on my manual seats.. And does the e85 have the wiring ready to go, as I have read that somewhere on here. I'm wondering how I would recognize any heated or electric seats I might come across
While I'm at it, where is the heated seat button?
 
Early e85 models have the wiring looms for power/heated seats factory installed (and cruise I think) minus the buttons. This was dropped on later builds some time in 2004 and a search on the forum may find something more on the dates or probably best to have a look at your loom.

thank you gents.. so i can fit sports seats in from any of the zeds versions then and then source a dash with switches...?
So erm.... Anybody got Any red sports seats ? :rofl:
