Hi All

I'm think of doing a face lift on the front of my Z'ed (E85) I was originally going to have the front bumper resprayed but I'd quite like to take a few years off the apperence as well now :D

So my questions are;

Will an E89 front bumper fit my E85 ?
Do I have to change the head lights ?

I was going to change the head lights anyway for the Halo's and I know the Fog lights are different.

Many Thxs

Thxs PVR after I posted I look a little deeper and I'm now looking at an Z4M front bumper E86 model

Hi simn

Many thxs for your reply, how much in £ are you selling it for ? and if you can send me some pictures would be great.

Hi terryvision

That's awesome and I'd get to keep the fog light :D

How much and where did you get it

Technically an E89 bumper will fit an E85, albeit with some cutting and chopping. Do something unique and get a bodyshop to make it fit for you  .

And the search begins 8)

Hi stlymch

That's an idea but then it starts getting ££££ :(

You say ££££, but do you know how much ££££ a Z4M bumper goes for?

Even if you get someone to bodge it on (which I doubt) none of the contour lines will match up with the bonnet as they do on the E89 and it'll look shite.

You've made an assumption here, who said the all important "bonnet matching" contour lines would stay?

I can't get the close-ups to work on my iPad, but it looks like he's left the lines on the top of the e89 bumper rather than filled, which doesn't look quite right.

Thanks Terry - so he's gotten rid of the lines on the top. Tbh, I don't think it looks too bad, but the lines might be a touch aggressive for the e85. Can't make up my mind....

I haven't made an assumption at all! The lines would not match up with the bonnet as the e85 bonnet has no lines to match up to - fact.
They have filled the centre 'V' round the badge in, which in my opinion looks as shite as the headlights do. Look at the gaps underneath them!!
It looks like the love child of Jackie Stallone and Shane MacGowan :o
