just curious to know if the e46 rear brakes and the Z4 rear brakes are interchangeable? ie calipers, carriers and rotors/discs? i know the front brakes are interchangeable.
since its almost time to replace my rear rotors and pads, i'm thinking of taking the opportunity to fit a set of e46 stoptech 328mmx28mm rear BBKs onto my Z4 since they don't make a Z4 specific set of rear brakes to match the stoptech front BBKs i already have installed.
other possibilities i'm entertaining include:
1) upgrade to the 3.0i Z4's 294mmx19mm oem rear brakes but replace the calipers with the AP racing caliper upgrade kit.
2) brembo 298mm rear BBK for the Z4
i'm also worried abt losing the use of my handbrake with a custom setup. any thoughts on this?
