will 2006 xenon headlight fit on 2003 z4 w/ zenon?

hello. i am looking to swap headlight to get clear indicators and would like to know if post facelift light can be installed on 2003 z4. when reading diy from cj10jeeper, he said cant swap the two (can harvest parts though if you want to do split/AE conversion) but not straight swap. just want to confirm b/f i buy. thanks
 
CJ is of course correct. You can do with halogens, but not xenons - the lights themselves work differently.
