I drove the Boat to work today (Ford Taurus) cause the Z was dirty and needed washing.

Soon as I got home I started the Z up to warm while i went inside to tell her I was taking it up for a quick wash off to get the salt and grime off. Since the front is so low I cant take it into the Auto, and have to do it by hand. (needed for the fender wells, wheels and such) Not like I want an auto wash to do a fail job like they do any way. Let alone scratch my paint up.

Temp was only 27 degrees. And yes I got her dried off by hand in 10 mins or so. Of coarse my hands were frozen when I got home and held them under water till they warmed up some.
Wife just stood next to me and asked, "Is it worth it?"
I smiled, and said "Hell yes."

Sunshine and dry the next 5 days or so. Want to guess which car I will be taking to work? :driving:

It's always worth it - but man, it takes some willpower in the winter. Shame you can't really shock her by going for a drive with the roof down :D

Mine defiantly needs a good clean, I put some blue dust caps on to match the blue in the BMW badge (yep I'm that sad) and when I went to check the tyre pressures yesterday they were black :o the yellowstuff pads I've got on are a massive improvement over stock but they aint half dusty
