have one. in 1/18 scale.
if I could afford ANY car this would be it.
Coupe though.

Agree with you there, I remember when the v10 coupe came out I read an article in evo and was totally in love!
Supposedly modelled on 50s and 60s british sports cars. £200k odd if I remember correctly.

My mechanic friend gets to drive/tweak one of them for a customer - usually rents a workshop near to the 'Ring to do the customer's requested upgrades and then set it all up at the 'Ring.

I believe its the V10 version now, so MF5 - but I'm sure he said he also used to work on the customer's older V8 version.

I remember popping into the sole Dutch dealer in Utrecht years ago and seeing one that had been crashed during a test drive parked up outside. Ouch.

I might be wrong but ai remember the dealer telling me that Weismann buy/bought Z8 chassis and engines from bmw and plonk their own body on. I remember it this way as I was puzzled at why anyone would want to buy something that looked like an ugly pumped up Morgan over a beautiful Z8!

Im open to be correctd on that however. :?

It looks like the illegitimate love-child of a Jag MkII and an Austin Healy 3000. The overall shape is pleasing but some fussy details like the lights and not keen on the wheels.
In the line of retro-styled rip-offs I much prefer the Dowsett Comet20190906_162355.jpg20190906_162322.jpg20190906_162304.jpg20190906_162504.jpg

Always loved them. Ever since Top gear showed a Motorhome with one tucked away underneath it. 8)

Amazing cars, apparently a lot of the BMW board guys have them.
Pick of the range for me is the mf4 gts in manual guise with the E9x m3 engine

A (considerably richer than I!) friend of mine has one. Beautiful and to drive it was fantastic, not dissimilar to the Z4M in many ways, big old bonnet, lovely straight six.
