Why Z4-forum is so much better than others

Does seem very civil on here to me, being a newbie and all that, Has anybody ever got banned, are there skeletons, unmentioned in cupboards, do tell..

A forum member wrote his Z off during a forum meet | hoon a few years back - ended up in a field on a tight corner

As a stalwart "pipe and slippers " member ( almost 65 ) my posts have included a pic of how straight the grass lines are in my back garden , my old campervan and several of my very interesting cat named Dexter.

Previous forum membership includes Ford Probe Owners Club !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! , Boxster ( not impressed ) , Lotus Elan Central ( good crowd )

Before purchase i wained a bit, had a look at some RS4s and S5's, I couldn't decide if they were a little boring in the looks department, had a look on some audi owners forums to find some exciting examples... everyone there was just as boring as the cars and there was no banter at all The forum basically put me off the car!

..I quickly ran back to the z4-forum

& i seem to remember 1 particularly entertaining spat around new years eve :wink:

Yeah, a few people poke their heads back in. Some people just move on like mr lozzer, micz4... others disappear in a puff of smoke for whatever reason - most of the time it's a real shame when they do.

Every once in a while the forhormones build up to breaking pint and a little steam is let off, usually without casualty.

Not been here long, but have formed the impression that it's the friendlies tone of any forum I've been a member of- scoobynet, pistonheads, seatcupra.net, and (before all this website nonsense started) uk.rec.cars...newsgroups
This can only be achieved by having friendly people on it :kissass:
It's also chocka with bloody useful info.
Yes, there's banter, but it does seem to have a distinct lack of bedroom keyboard warriors. Which is a good thing.
