Why you don't mess with airbags....

A guy on one of my 4x4 forums made this vid.....activation of an airbag with about a kilo of metalwork attached......bit scary really! Just click on the pic for the video.

 
Yep I bet it stings a little when that goes off in your face. How many times do you see people sitting to close to the steering wheel and though I hate to admit it, the majority of which are women.

and me lol, i read some where that you should be 30cm away from the air bag, i need longer legs

Yeah why is that....my wife drives with the steering wheel jammed into her chest sitting almost bold upright.....is it a comfort thing or something?? Drives me bloody mad I know that - especially when I have to get in a car that she's just driven! Now you know why we leave the toilet seat up!!! :poke:
