Regarding the colour Neil has done similar with his but the previous owner had the paint done professionally. I was very sceptical but in the flesh looks stunning! His is obv very different and a much better example

Lights are an obvious upgrade if you have the orange hockey stick style pre facelift ones, I wouldn't say it detracts from the value for a few its a pain to do so is an attractive option although won't add value same with the wheels. The problem with modding is its all personal and the original car is always more valuable than a modded car, which is why modding with OEM parts keeps the car attractive :thumbsup:

If you do mod keep the original parts and swap them and selling them separately will give a larger target audience.

From the pics its a silver car and only wrapped in orange vinyl, so it could be put back to original colour quite easy.

how much damage has been done applying the wrap?

Could be knife cuts everywhere.

I can confirm I found this to be the case with the MR2 I sold, and I specifically went looking for the zed with no mods partly because I couldn't be bothered finding insurance that would cover them, paying extra, etc.
 
I dont think insurance is such a big deal.

I am paying 500 quid and i dont have any NCb and i am not 70 years old :)

For someone who is buying a sport car with 7 litres of oil in the engine i dont think insurance is the most expensive bit :)

Is like buying a Ferrari and asking about fuel consumption :)
 
I have all my mods listed and the difference was £50 with admiral. Depends what they are if aesthetic they don't add a lot but it is a pain trying to get it all sorted.
 
This has been for sale for a long time as I saw a few months ago on auto trader. There must be another reason why it hasnt been sold yet.

I wouldnt go for it, could be a money pit.

Yeah possibly, I wonder if it would still be waiting for a buyer if he had played clever and wrapped it in white tho?
 
To be honest I don't like white roadsters or coupes but I think a lot of people still hanker after a 'fashionable' white car
 
This car had been on ebay for a while now. It was up for a higher price last week so it's just been dropped below 4.

I'd say it's probably at the right price point now
