why no flash?

sorry to say this but i.ve noticed that no Z4 owners seem to wave or flash each other...
Zeds seem to be quite common here with women
at least in my town....
theres 4/5 i see quite regularly...maybe its
me coming from a m.bike background....
and having a classic (kinda) BMW...also
but i.ve never got a smile. ...wave....or flash
from another owner....

are you a flasher....?
 
Not in Germany. 1, The Germans are great. But. They keep to themselves until they get to know you. So not much hiway hello's. 2, Most everyone drives really fast here and one needs to pay attention to what they are doing.
 
I've found this too, I think it's because we expect all other Z4 drivers to be like us, and here on the forum, gallantly waving and being friendly. But realistically, us forum people are only probably a small % of the overall Z4 population. In fact, I wonder what % we are on here of the overall Z4 population, what's your guess?! Not that we'll ever find out for sure! I reckon.....14.3% :)

If you're not on the forum then my bet/guess would be that you're not that car mad and therefore less likely to give a friendly wave and pop a post on the spotted thread immediately when you get home like we do! They probably just think we're a bit weird, but who cares!
