Why is my indicator on??

I got a warning light on the dash so i got out to check and my front indicator light is now permenantly on even when the car is switched of.

Whats going on? :?

I think that usually means a bulb has gone?

That's what I thought buts its on?.. Bit weird! Maybe one of the bulbs is gone?

Yep I think bulb gone too. I think it'll flatten the battery eventually too if you don't change the bulb, depending on how long you leave it undriven.

Can't see any bulbs out? There's only two in the indicator right?

Probably sidelight or dipped beam i would have thought.

It's not the parking light function? Turn the engine off with the indicators set left or right and the appropriate side indicators stay on. (At least on some cars)

That's what I wondered, some kind of parking light

If the light warning light came on your dash then its a sidelight bulb gone, more likely same side that the indicator is permanently on. Happened to me this week.

Have your LCM and GM5 check..sometimes when it goes undervoltage..it corrupts. Symptoms (indicator still on even door armed). Happened to my bimmers. But then sometimes it function normally by luck.

The batteries dead now as i left it overnight and havent had time to go near it. Will get her going this weekend for an investigation, hopefully some jump leads and a frankenstein moment later we'll get to the bottom of it.
