Why bad handling again ?

I had terrible tramlining and very skittish handling on my 17"s, fitted spacers 12mm front and 15mm rears and it was like a new car.


Thought I would go 18"s with the normal front rear offsets and got a set of MV2s with virtually new tyres, fitted and set tyres pressures to a reasonable level. 32 front 36 rears and now the car is worrying to drive above 60.

Any suggestions where I went wrong ?

Worn bushes?

Have you changed any in your ownership?

Have you had an alignment?

There is an underlying set up issue that you have either tracking or worn suspension.
The reduction in side wall height (lower profile) has probably resurrected the issue as lower profile tyres make the car a bit more 'skittish'?
Only a suggestion as I haven't followed previous threads on your handling issues. :?

I have done my lollipops and cannot detect any further play in any bushes.

Which ones do I need to check ?

Rear Trailing Arm Bushes & a decent 4 wheel alignment then I would suggest
