Why are mentions of 'Z e d s h e d' being censored...

Perhaps someone (mods?) could explain why every mention of Zedshed (Z e d s h e d) seems to be replaced by '*******'

Surely this prevents searches for potential problems/issues with Zed5hed - I don't recall this being done for any other dealers/garages with which people have experienced problems?

Because there are two garages called Zed.shed and it caused some friction. One was around long time before the other.

I'm going to put an awning up on my drive and start up 'The Zed Tent'.
Remember, you heard it here first, so no copying my idea you bu**ers!

Really? Zed. Shed. Zed-shed. Zedshed

Edit, hah! You’re right!

But I thought only one of them was a registered business?

Indeed, it seems you are correct according to the government website:

THE ZED SHED LTD
11314661 - Incorporated on 17 April 2018

20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU

Edit: Flippin' asterisks!

But I don't want to get into an argument of "he zed, I zed............." :D
Don't you mean "he zed, I shed......."
Having read many historical posts with your name on them, I will NOT be getting into a comedy competition with you.............

To save any confusion, and to appeal to our foreign audience, how about the 'Zee Teepee'?

Well if we're all camping out, would it not be 'four on the floor'?

camping out...? :gfight:

'four on the floor' brings to mind a really poor gearbox rebuild...

This is true, we're only a community run garage, just as well I don't want the bailiffs knocking at my door...

It still appears in searches, but any posts in the forum services section do not appear in search results. That is because the only way to exclude it from ‘new posts’ is to remove it from the searchable parts of the forum.

That explains why a search for 'z e d s h e d' (without the spaces) only returns 37 results (with it shown as asterisks in the posts) out of the ?hundreds? of posts in which the word has appeared. Doesn't really help anyone doing searches for feedback/opinions as they'd be unaware that there are lots of other posts hidden from the search results.

[ref]Joycey[/ref] explained the issue but it's a pity there's not a more elegant way of doing this
