Why all the red cars in Scotland?

Well we've had some entertainment on a thread about a HellRot Coupe in Scotland, which according to Cazana was registered in Edinburgh! :)

My 325ti Sport was Imola Red and was registered in Dundee, and my nephew's 325i Sport Touring is Imola Red and was registered in Aberdeen.

I was just wondering why so many red cars seem to start life North of the border - is it so they stand out in the snow? :)

Maybe some of our Scottish members can shed some light.

Lynchy rescued his Imola ///M Roadster from Scotland IIRC.

I think that there is a disproportionately large number of Zeds in Scotland.

Good taste in cars north of the border!

Well I'd have to agree with you there! Still that's OK - my Dad was born in Muir-of-Ord.

I wonder where Marlon's car began life?

Fantastic open fast roads attract good cars. :driving:

And then you have to paint them red, so you can see them through the cr#p weather and swarms of man eating midges. :D

It’s the only country in the UK with so little sun that the paint doesn’t fade to orange in 5 years.
