My E85 N52 2007 is almost 100k kms (61k miles) and I am worried reading a lot of DISA threads.

My Car is perfect for the moment but I know is recommended to change the DISA valve at the 60k miles and of course I want to prevent a big problem

So the big question is do I change it for a new one?, what brand or OEM?

Or do the Repair kit (I saw one of aluminum)

Which of the 2 valves (small and large) or the 2?

Thank you so much for all ur nice help!!

To check their condition you need to pull them out to have a close look which means pulling the inlet manifold to get at the engine side Disa, fair bit of dismantling. Once out check the operation of the flap valve and its seals and its pivot points for wear or cracking. Any faults found would dictate what you need to do ie install new parts, thats going to hurt your wallet. I would try replacing with oem parts, expensive but always best practice to go for oem parts. Since your car is running ok and no signs of Disa problems subject on a visual check you might consider keeping them as they are working ok. Since you have it all stripped down it might be prudent to renew them if you are planning on keeping the car long term at your mileage.
