Its all about timing Nick but one thing i will say , once you own the car its strange how the extra RFL is no issue , in fact the whole rationale over running costs are expelled within minutes of gunning down the road with induction roar :P
Best advice ? Don't testdrive one until you are ready to buy :roll: :thumbsup:

But RFL is offset by the cheaper insurance. Mine being a 20% drop which was 100 difference at the time.
 
Sometimes think about it but mines a keeper now especially after fitting KW V2 Coilovers and a AFE intake, next on the list will be a LSD and possibly a front Big Brake kit :D

Lol, As far as I'm concerned Perry, the Alpina's have the same desirability as the M cars, both modern & classic love em!

Its nice to explore a little motoring exotica but home is where the heart is Ruth :oops:
Pound for pound there is little out there to match M pedigree in a all round package .
Will be interesting to hear how you take to the Lotus on a day to day basis or as a weekend treat :)

No for me .. I moved across from the M ladder (I have owned 3 to-date) and across to the 35is ladder

That little S packs a powerful punch :gfight:
 
There's a few people gone from M to 35is actually. I suppose it's similar power and drama, just more comfort. An age thing maybe :D

Look at the M like a puppy Pete , they s**t in the house & chew stuff which makes you wonder why you bothered but once trained they become your best friend you wouldn't want to be without :oops:
