This may be a big ask but I have searched, and lurked and googled and read til I am crosseyed, but ultimately there is no substitute for real time testing. And if I am going to drop nearly £2,000 for a mod, I would like to know for sure it's going to do the trick. What I need is a ride-along.
I have to do something about the rear suspension on my 3.0si. Currently Eibach + B6 on 17" wheels but just not comfortable enough. Believe it or not.
There are great threads on the subject where several members extol the improvements in comfort (at softer settings) over OEM or Bilstein kits, but it's all a bit subjective.
I could just put SE springs on and B4 or OEM dampers, but that's basically a permanent downgrade in my eyes and I only need comfort for the odd long trip.
Is there anyone in Suffolk or Suffolk/Essex border willing to just take me along for 10 minutes? Obviously also prepared to set the dampers to soft for the trip. I am not looking for a demo of on-the-limit handling, just passenger comfort at normal road speeds, preferably on some poor roads.
