Glass insurance though? Thought he would have fixed the glass as that is only about £50 or so.

x2 got to be worth going through insurance for the lot. Unless he already got a new roof under insurance and is getting a double whammy.

That's pretty difficult to do. Must have just placed it on and not set any of the three clamping points. :o

I broke my rear window a year or so back - not covered under insurance as its not part of the car, and / or declared

New window cost nearly £300 (fitted at BMW)
