Has anyone tried or heard of these tyres, ? got a good score on Pneus Online. and they are cheap, which is good for me, as money is abit tight at the moment ... they are Sailun Atrezzo ZSR 225/40/18 and 255/35/18..

Never heard of them - but the official labelling on the Asda website which sells them as well say they're not very fuel efficient, okay in wet braking and are relatively cheap. Doesn't mean they're ditchfinders though - although I'd hope they are formulated for the EU/UK market rather than the Chinese one where they're from.

They also say they're a relative newcomer to the tyre market, so there may not be many objective reviews out there - as you have to remember when you rate a tyre you probably take the price into account. So a buyer will likely rank higher a £50 tyre that outperforms their expectations than a £250 tyre that only meets their expectations - despite the £250 tyre performing better in all aspects than the £50 tyre (just like all those very satisfied Hyundai owners vs less satisfied Porsche owners - doesn't mean the Hyundai is a better car).

What size/price are you looking at, as there might be something that's £5/corner more expensive but will last twice as long.

I just got 4 tyres from these guys for my wife's car - really good price and delivered well within the 5 days quoted. I'll be using them for my Z if they have the right tyres when I need them
