Wow, I could almost hear a violin playing as I read that

Hell yes, what a horrible time of actually having to do some work for a change. How lonely.

Welcome back miss mosh! What took you so long ? :poke:

Welcome back Moshy, it's really good that you've made contact again. There are plenty of reprobates from Z4um on here and elsewhere. xx

Hi welcome to the forum.

Pryor to this forum there was a z4um.com which started in 2003. miss mosh was a very prominent active member of that forum and was also one of the mods if not an admin. Without warning on a Sunday morning in April of 2007 z4um.com quit working. The owner of that forum had moved on to another car and left the forum to be run by the mods/admins. The owner of z4um despite requests from qualified individuals failed to turnover the necessary access rights to the server to fix/repair what was wrong. Maybe it was beyond repair and there were no backups...I don't know but the forum died and all the years of knowledge that was recorded with it were lost as well.

For those of us that were regulars on the forum it left a big hole in our lives. Then in June of 2007 sp3ctre stepped forward and started this forum...

If you click on the members tab which sort by join date most of those that joined this forum in the first few months were refugees from z4um.com.

Thanks for that, very intrstn/good to know;and what a great forum this is/keep up the good work folks

x 2,

Yes, its quite "weird" when you contribute to a site daily then all of a sudden the whole thing just disappears! :?

Small correction to the story of WLH - the owner of Z4um.com never had a Z4, he had (and still has) an Audi TT ...

I was on Z4um when I had my Z4 SMG, but not a regular poster.

zroadster.net is one I frequent too but it is mostly Z3s over there.

(I've had two Z3 3.0i and an S50 Z3M as well as the Z4)

Anyway, welcome miss mosh.

Offline life took over after I retired from my peacekeeping tour of online nuts  but I used to pop on the sites now and then for a catch up. You know how it is, you can take the girl out of a Z4 but.... :D

You still have your boobies!!!! Yes, speaking of reprobates, look at that pic Citation has posted! Those blow up sheep saw some action on that trip *cough* and I still have that number plate stashed away in the shed, couldn't bring myself to part with it!

So, ancient history aside, thanks for the extra welcomes, this looks like the place to be. I've found a potential Zeddy Mk 2 this weekend and I'm liking it. Just got to work out a deal I'm happy with and read up on iPod connections, can't believe people still buy a stonkingly equipped car and then don't go beyond a single CD player. It's just wrong! :o

I am your man when it comes to iPod connections with the Intravee, the only solution :D

Hello miss mosh, now there's a name to remember, we PM'd a couple of times.

I'm in my 60's (Steve Z4)
