Over the rainbow near the emerald city
After doing an extensive search and a lot of haggling with salesmen, I finally got my Z4 and have it at my home here near the Emerald City; you know the land of OZ. Ok Seattle Washington. It is a silver streak with a black top and enterer. I have been a car nut for most of my life having 19 brand new cars and many other used vehicles over the years. I have had many different brands, and styles. My favorite car is my Mercedes 190E that I bought new in 1986. It is as nice as when I got it and runs and looks outstanding. In fact when I was buying the Z4 salesmen were trying to get me to sell it to them, but that would be like selling one of my daughters. No way is that going to happen.

Now I hope that the BMW lives up to what I expect of it. I sold a big black 2004 Cadillac to pay for the BMW Z4. I got that car a few years ago as a gift to my wife for Valentines’ Day. My lovely wife gave it back to me so I could get another toy. She knows I will never grow up. I don’t plan on doing that. It will be in my garage most of the time and taken out for fun on the two or three days when it is not raining here in the land of tall trees and rain. But when it is nice, it is very nice so I am sure I will enjoy it turing in the beautiful little 2004 BMW Z4. Already having fun taking turns that I should take at 40, but boosting it to 80MPH. The little rocket does it easily.

Anyway I am most happy to be part of the group and would like to find other Z4 enthusiasts in the area to run with if possible. Please anyone in the Puget Sound area who would like to tour with my wife and me, please feel free to contact me.

I am going to post a question on the board asking what folks use to keep the engine compartment clean. I have used Gunk in the past, but it smells and I don’t want to mess up this car that way. Thanks for reading this.

WaZZZZman, welcome to the forum...
Be sure post up some pictures of your Z or someone might do this to you.... :P

I am sorry but I do not know how to post a picture of my machine or I would have put a picture out already. I can put it on my own web page and have a link to it. :(

Ok so here is my try at putting a picture on the page for all to see. I had just washed it and it was in the front of my home. I have only had it 2 days so it is pretty much just as it came to me, but I did wash and wax it just for good measure. OZ

Thanks for reply. As luck would have it, I have a small amount of Aerospace Protectrant already. I use it on my spa lid. It seems to do a great job on the lid. I have not used the Aotosol cleaner to date. I will check it out as soon as I can. I would really like to find a product that does not leave a bad smell like some do when they are used. Kind of takes away from the leather smell. Thanks again

Welcom to the forum WaZZZZman, great first post with those pictures. Sounds like the Z has already stole your heart, you wont regret your purchase. Excellent choice in color
