Problem is which English managers are successful especially in European competitions and can handle big egos? There just aren't any candidates that I can see. So theer will need to be compromises; either a foreign manager, or one with a lack of experience.
Personally, I think Sam Allardyce will be a failure at national level. Harry Redknapp has ruled himself out, so that leaves Alan Pardew. :roll:

Another shout for Eddie Jones - OK he's an Aussie, and probably knows nothing about football - although that doesn't seem to be a big disadvantage. The rugby team won 3-0 in Australia, even the All Blacks haven't done that for over 40 years. He told them they'd had one excellent game and two average ones, and he expected better...

I don't know myself who's going to be Woy's replacement but he needs to have the balls to tell the FA to F off and not pander to the nancy boy, "superstar", I've done my bit to get here attitude of the "players" in the squad.....
I'd drop the whole lot of 'em if it was me and pick a completely fresh team even using lower league players,works for other countries, who might play with some pride and passion once picked. Then tell the others....you want to play for England?? Then bloody well prove it and earn it, don't just expect it.....

This is the problem, whoever comes in is likely to pick the same bunch of losers with Hart and Rooney at the top of the list.
It's almost guaranteed to be more of the same old rubbish. We need Revolution not Evolution.
