Hi, I’ve found out that the top motor from a Ford Mustang convertible 2010-2014 is almost a straight swap for the e85 motor.
Evidently the hydraulic lines bolt right up but the wiring needs different terminals to hook up to the motor connections.
It’s supposed to have a larger fluid reservoir and a slightly faster action as well.
This is the beast :thumbsup:

The mustang pump won’t fit in the original sleeve as it’s larger, it goes in the boot ok though :thumbsup:
The banjos are rusty as they’re the z4 ones :o

Wow, that's really useful info. for any E85 owner!

I wonder if a Ford one is cheaper? :roll:
 
I also saw this on FB - someone posted it a few weeks ago and it just came up again in the last 24hours

Definitely a good discovery
