Given how young some of these drivers are on here - I'm guessing there must be some fairly high insurance premiums? - especially at 19?!

According to Thatcham coupes are Insurance group 44A (M is 45A), this is higher than every other zed (inc E89s) bar:

2006 - 2009 Z4 SI SE CONVERTIBLE 3L Manual group 45A
2006 - 2009 Z4 SI SE CONVERTIBLE 3L Auto group 45A
2006 - 2009 Z4 SI SPORT CONVERTIBLE 3L Manual group 45A
2006 - 2009 Z4 SI SPORT CONVERTIBLE 3L Auto group 45A
2006 - 2009 Z4 M CONVERTIBLE group 46A

There are a few equivalent to the coupe but most are below.
